I am a native of Charlottesville and have a wonderful wife and a fantastic son. I enjoy vacationing with my family, skiing, scuba diving, riding my motorcycle, and paramotoring when not working. In 1994, I started as a scratch agent, working for and being mentored by my father, Herb, who founded the company in 1984. During the 15 years we were together, I held various sales and management positions before purchasing the agency in 2009. Because of my love of people and helping them, the insurance business has been a fruitful and rewarding career. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity presented to me so many years ago. I am also highly grateful for all the past and present employees who have helped me make this company what it is today.

I grew up and graduated in Nelson County, then spent 15 years at the beach in North Carolina. I returned to the county in 2020, where I reside today with my husband, George. We have six grown children and three young grandchildren who bring us joy and happiness! I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, doing outdoor projects, hanging out on the beach, anything on the water, RV’ing, and spending our weekends in Blacksburg during college football season. I am interested in landscaping and decorating and love thrifting and repurposing! I have many years in the insurance industry and have experience in the application phase, policy issuance, customer service, sales, claims, and management. I enjoy helping people understand how their insurance works and determine what is best for each client. Insurance is a career for me, and I have enjoyed the experiences it has taught me and the friends it has brought me.
